Définition : The actual number of alarms transmitted for the incident. The definition of an alarm is determined at the local level
Purpose : The number of alarms is one method of measuring incident severity. Knowing the number of alarms can be useful for local analysis of resource requirements. The number of alarms also may be related to mutual aid support.

Entry : If your fire department has a standard method of designating alarms, enter the number of alarms required for this incident.
