NFIRS 5.0 Element: ‘Building Length’
Définition : The length of the main floor in square feet. This is an estimate.
Purpose : Main floor size, combined with other structural characteristics, is useful for evaluating firefighting operations and the need to allocate resources based on size and complexity of structures. It also helps in understanding the potential life and property at risk

Entry : Enter the length of the main floor in the area using length-by-width measurements (in feet). Do not enter both the total square footage of the main floor and the length-by-width dimensions.
