Purpose : An analysis of this information may permit an understanding of the condition causing the injury and a means of planning suitable preventive techniques. For example, firefighter injuries resulting from a blow to the head may indicate inadequacies in helmet design.
Entry : Enter the code and a written description for the immediate cause or condition responsible for the injury.
