NFIRS 5.0 Element: ‘Equipment Model’

Définition : The model name or number assigned to the equipment by the manufacturer. If there is no specific model name or number, use the common physical description of the equipment.
 
Purpose : Provides detailed information identifying specific types of equipment that failed or contributed to the fire. This information can be used to determine whether particular brands or models cause problems more frequently than others; and to identify equipment for product recalls or in the development of new product safety codes.
