Definition : The item contributing most to flame spread, if different from the Item First Ignited (Fire Module, Block D3).
 
Purpose : This information helps determine why fires advance through a structure and understand the rate at which they develop. A study of this entry also aids in assessing the need for flammability standards and other safety standards. This information can also be helpful to manufacturers for product improvement.
