NFIRS 5.0 Element: ‘Mobile Property Model’
Definition : The manufacturer’s model name. If one does not exist, use the physical description of the property that is commonly used to describe it, such as “three-bedroom” (mobile home) or “four-door” (sedan).
Purpose : can be used to determine whether particular models are more often a problem than others. Data on make, model, year, and other information are useful for determining compliance to standards of mobile properties and analyzing the effectiveness of these codes, standards, and regulations. The data also can be used to identify special hazards.
