Harness Data To Cut Through The Fog Of War

Firefighting In The 21st Century

The “fog of war” is a term often used by military commanders to describe battlefield uncertainty. Battlefield commanders try to limit the fog of war as much as possible. Most would never engage an opponent without proper intelligence gathering beforehand. After all, nothing can be left to chance when lives hang in the balance.

That’s why fire department must subscribe to the same mentality – the same fog of war for Fire Departments. Proper planning and intelligence gathering is simply the right thing to do in order to limit uncertainty and keep firefighters and communities safe.
