SmartReport
SmartReport is the practical and effective way to keep fire departments and jurisdictions compliant with NFIRS requirements. The application is designed so that anyone in the fire department can easily complete any type of incident, from small to complex. Departments will quickly realize the benefits of a simple reporting solution that works and does not require specialized training to complete.
Smart Mobile Platform
SmartReport is designed to be a mobile first application. Using an iPad or iPhone, crews can work on their reports from anywhere and at any time.
– Validations for each module guarantee that there are no issues with the data entered.
– Pictures can be captured and annotated while on scene for future reference.
– Narratives can be captured using the dictation feature of the device allowing the user to easily record information.
The application works both online and offline, allowing personnel to continue working without interruption. Once a connection is re-established, the application will sync to the cloud database.
Fully Featured
Easy Form Input
- SmartReport is built as a simple, form based data input solution providing a familiar format for quick access and data entry using choice lists, switches and input fields.
Validations
- Invalid selections, missing required fields and max length violations are all flagged and identified to the user. Reports that have not passed all validation checks cannot be submitted until corrected.
- Additional QA checks can be implemented ensuring an Officer or other designated personnel perform a secondary review of the information.
Automatic Updates
- Application updates are handed automatically without requiring user intervention. Changes to NFIRS formats, processing rules, or additions of new items like Special Studies are completed automatically as well.
Plus 1 Codes
- SmartReport can support and display Plus-one codes within the application by providing the list to our Customer Care team. They will import the codes to the appropriate field lists.
CAD Integration
- Integration with most CAD systems is available to allow for incident data to prepopulate portions of the incident report, saving time and reducing the chance for incorrect data to be entered into the application.
Administration and Reporting
- A fully featured web administration portal provides access to all NFIRS reporting history, allowing users to view, manage, approve and export reports as needed. Access is controlled through user accounts with proper permissions. Reports are available to help understand the types and volume of incidents your department is responding to.
- SmartReport is the easiest way to keep fire departments and jurisdictions compliant while providing valuable insight into the latest trends, causes and activities related to reported incidents.
